About Me - Indy Maya - Owner and Sticker Visionary
Hey! I’m Indy.
My life’s been a wild ride with lots of ups and downs. At 10 months old, I started having these intense seizures.
Doctors weren't sure I'd make it past being a teenager. But, here I am, totally proving them wrong!
For the longest time though, I couldn’t talk because of my seizures and meds. It was like I was trapped in my own world.
But guess what? I beat those odds and when I was 17, I started finding my voice.
Now, at 23, I’m not just talking about what I need; I’m sharing all the stuff I’ve been thinking and feeling for years. I still have a way to go to speak all the words in my heart, but stickers help me do what the words sometimes don't.
Coloring and stickers have always been my thing. They're like little bits of happiness I can create and share. When my mom started talking about work and we found out how tough it is for people like me to get fair pay and chances to grow, I was like, "No way, I’m worth more."
So, my mom asked if I wanted to start a business. It was a big, "Yes!" from me.
This business? It's my heart and soul.
It's where I get to show my creativity, have a voice, and am my own boss.
Every sticker and design from me is a piece of my story, a slice of hope.
It’s all about showing the world that everyone's got something special to offer.
